Wondering where to find an app that does this..

So I've been shooting weddings for awhile now and thought that I would step it up with some integrated tech. Here's the basic idea.

Let's say I have an iPad/Surface Pro or similar posted up on the bar along with some business cards.

I'm shooting the event and decide to upload a few pictures taken. I connect my wireless camera to either the device itself or to dropbox/similar storage medium and the iPad/surface pro plays a live slide show of the pictures I'm uploading and either pulls them straight from the cloud or ideally, from the device itself. It would simply cycle indefinitely so that people at the bar can see the action unfold throughout the night, take a few cards if they wanted to. Immediate advertising.

IS there anything that can do this in a straightforward and non wallet threatening way? Seems an easy thing to program as well if I have to take that route but would rather spend like, ten bucks to just get something out of the gate.

Upon thinking on this more and days of Google research, I think I'll attempt setting up a JQuery for a photo carousel in the same manner that one would do it for a webpage and that *should* work.. There doesn't seem to be much on the table at the moment as far as downloadable 'easy' options, save an app called Shuttersnitch. But Shuttersnitch doesn't say if it supports auto-updating of slideshows or even if it has slideshow capability..

Currently, the other program "Shuttersnitch" is only available for IOS and iPhone platforms. I'm attempting a design which will support cross platform and hopefully even cross DEVICE, so that anything able to access the internet will be able to perform this function alongside most wireless enabled cameras. Reverse engineering the network stack is the most trying portion, since it needs to be done for each camera supported and..I don't have a closet full of cameras, haha.. I'm beginning by getting it going with my Fuji gear, currently all I have. However, I do have pals with Nikons and Canons so there could (and really, SHOULD) be further support for those forthcoming if it all works as I expect it to.

I expect to add more functionality to it in time, perhaps enable a user to select music from a device-stored library to go with a slideshow, some other things rolling around in my mind too.. A "Pro" version, if you will maybe with even further function? I don't want to speak too much on it yet, but I expect a very rough beta test this weekend :) I'll definitely update this as I think a lot of event photographers and wedding photogs could benefit from this as there are currently not many options on the market as far as I've seen.

I guess this thread will be sort of a repository of progress from now on if that's ok with the mods.
