awful story,, I don't go out of my way to photography homelss, so many have mental illness, and some are running from the law, so approach all homeless photography with extreme caution.

Terrible, you never know what you're dealing with anymore. Panhandling has become a part time job for some and people that appear homeless may not be!

Whats the world coming to when you can't trust the poor anymore :)

Although I would think photographing them down and out (if they truly are) must be very insulting and demeaning.

We had one downtown, I work out of my house now and went back after 5 years. The same guy was still there, cleaned shaven and pulling in money. What's sad is some people need it and some abuse it. This is a sad story in deed. The guy I mention above has been in the same spot for 17 years, makes you really think.

I watched Manswers years ago, and one episode pretty much exposed these people. Most of them aren't homeless, they do this as a job and they pull in alot more money than you think.
