Wife's comment to her husband

My wife and I were out shooting birds this afternoon at a stream near Dallas Texas. I had my D750 with the Tamron. 150-600 on it. This other couple was walking toward us and the husband was carrying a Nikon D3?00 with a 55-200 on it I think. As we passed each other the wife looked at her husband and said. "See that camera? You should be ashamed of yourself!" Had to be the funniest reaction I have heard about a camera.

I tend to disagree though, you should not judge a man by his camera, but by the pictures he produces.

You missed the point. She was kidding with him and laughing. I did tell her that since it was a Niko that he had a perfectly good camera that would take good photos.

I have the best wife!! She asked me recently what I needed to better my photography. I then told her what I wanted and the cost. She said " you better sell more pictures"!!

I had a similar reaction a few years ago, I went to an event once and chose the 50mm f1.8, a guy next to me had a kit lens 18-140 on his camera. Someone also joked saying, his one is a lot bigger then yours.
