I am looking for a wide angel lens for my new D750. I really want something that goes to 10mm but the only FX lens I can find is the 14-24mm. Does anyone know of another full frame lens that goes at least to 10mm? Also what would happen if I used the DX 10-24mm on the FX body? would my image be altered or cropped? I am also open to older model lenses that I could get used/refurbished.

DX is not a good option. Your camera automaticlly kicks into DX mode unless you turn that option off. The image is severally vignetted when you use a DX lens on your D750 I have a Tokina 11-16 DX lens for my D7100 and I did try it on my D750 when I first got it. I won't make that mistake again. Just not worth it.
10mm is extremely wide and will give you the fish eye look. Is that what you are after? I had a 14mm Rokinon and I found it to be a decent lens but sometime it was a bit to wide for my taste. I bought the Tokina 16-28 and that has become my new favorite lens.
If you could tell us why you want such a wide lens we might could help you better.
Ahh thats what I was afraid of with the DX, thank you! I use to have a cannon 60d with a 10-18mm and I just liked the range it gave me. I do like the fish eye look at 10mm used for all sorts of things, but Im also not sure how big of a difference there is between 10mm and 14mm. It would also be great to find a less expensive option than the Nikkor 14-24mm.
Sigma makes a 12-24 FX lens.

Remember that the cannon 60d is a APS-C Sensor. In Nikon terms a DX so that means a 1.6x crop factor. That 10mm lens is the same as a 16mm lens on your Nikon D750
Buy the Tokina 16-28 and that should give you the same field of view you had with the Canon

There is a lot of good manual-focus Nikon glass that goes very low on the FX format, but if I remember correctly, 10mm and lower (Nikon made a 8mm fisheye) is premium-priced glass.
For me, my choice ends at 15mm, which is the shortest focal length lens that I know of that is rectilinear. (Although not all 15mm lenses are such.)

This is a Voigtlander 10mm. It is the widest, rectilinear, non fisheye, full frame lens available. I use this on my Sony A7II. I don't know if they make a Nikon mount, but adapters are probably available.
The lowest Nikon lens for FX is the 14MM.

I was thinking all the rokinon lenses were like my 14mm and were FX. Deleted the link.
His best option is one in the 16-28 range and that is very close to what he had with the canon aps-c camera. 16 is very wide
Or the Rokinon 14mm with the chip which is a FX lens. You can pick them up used for a pretty good price. I liked mine but found it was a little to wide in many cases and needed something between there and the 24-120 lens I have. The 16-28 tokina fills that niche quite well
Don't forget the Tamron 15-30 as an option. Google it and read the reviews, have a look at sample images, etc. I had the Nikon 16-35 prior to the Tamron and it has been very close to a night & day difference between the two (Tamron is sharp across the entire frame, Nikon was not). The Tokina also looks to be a very nice lens at a very good price.
