@Marilynne Which links aren't you seeing? I went back and looked at the leather I mentioned. It wasn't a link, but it was two threads with the same reference to a leather strap. I thought there were links.

It can be frustrating when your iPhone shows it's connected to WiFi but refuses to access the internet. Here are some steps to troubleshoot the issue:-

  1. Restart your iPhone and router:- This often resolves temporary glitches.
  2. Toggle Airplane Mode:- Quickly turning Airplane Mode on and off can sometimes refresh the connection.
  3. Forget and reconnect to WiFi:- Go to Settings > Wi-Fi, tap the network, and select "Forget This Network." Then reconnect.
  4. Check for software updates:- Ensure your iPhone and router firmware are up-to-date.
  5. Disable Wi-Fi Assist:- This feature might be causing issues. Go to Settings > Cellular and turn off "Wi-Fi Assist."
  6. Reset Network Settings:- This will reset all network-related settings. Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset Network Settings.
