Why???

There I ve used some shiny new zoom lens them plastic G lenses of todays.

These two are shot with an OLD lens, approx 20 yrs of age.

Why do I feel getting better photos with them OLD primes??

I did also do som photos with that 1990ies 50 1,4D -- fantastic!



Having said that my 1.4 D 50 mm is oldest first AF version with that plasticy focus ring Is it similar or is the newer with D and proper rubber ring better????

You are always going to get better images with a prime lens, Zoom lenses are just a convenient compromise.
