oh my,, I was lucky,,

I was motorcycling,, and I had my D800 in my bag,, and,, when I took it out of the bag,, my eye piece on the camera fell right off!

I was like what the...... and then I noticed the small screw hole,, and carefully looked in my black back for the ultra small black screw,,,

and I found it! so lucky,, I mean that is one tiny screw,,

then of course, had to find a jewelers Philips and jeesh,, really hard to hold the amost spring loaded piece (it has like spring electrical contacts
so if it is off, the camera will not function,,, and the tiny screw,, putting into the tiny hole, and then tightening,,

yup,,, got it,,

Got me thinking... wow,, I could had been out on one of my photo trips and had this failure, and lost the screw over a water fall, or in the dirt,, or
whatever, I was just lucky that it came out in a contained motorcycle bag.

which is why you almost have to carry a backup SLR for any serious excursion,, where getting photos is a must.

anyhow,, you might want to every once in awhile tighten down any exposed screws on these SLRs. or even lens.
