76,, always makes me think of the 1976,,, a good year,,, no war, decent economy,, not great,, there was a recession going on then too, but was a sense of hope,, would be nice to bring back,,,, hope,,,, and hey how about NO WAR! ,,

LET'S ALL START CHANTING,, NO WAR NO WAR,, laughs,,

actually back to photography,, saw the latest add for the D800 on how it will make you want to take all your pictures over, naw,, but it is a great camera. in my folders,, I label every folder by the camera type,, so ,, essentially date and camera type.

for me the biggest look change is when I went from the D80 to D300,, CCD to CMOS sensor,, lost some of the Vivid look,, I do like the D80 look, I have some really nice images from that camera,, and I refuse to sell it. To me,, its just a wonderful camera,, mmm maybe I should pick up a cheap low count one,

Anyhow, from the D300 to D800,, pretty consistent look and feel to the images, but wouldn't you expect that Nikon tries to make the images
have a Nikon Feel,, and spend a lot of time comparing camera versions, and tweaking,, so some differences in dynamic range, and detail, but overall,, my portfolio when I merge the shots,, (I group by category,, Abstract, people, landscape,, etc),, and in those folders, when I put
the pictures in slide show mode,, nope,, it is not obvious to my eye,, that that picture is a D300 and that is a D700, etc, course, I have a bias in my editing, so I suppose I cause some of that convergence too.

oh,, Fall is here,, here is a quick shot, I took while up in elevation: fall 2013 1.jpg

The sky was blah,, and I was balancing on a rock,, but,, it shows that year has some potential,, so,,, getting exited,,
