Good to study the moon rise/moon set time,,, and plan.. if you want the optiminum results,, my favorite time
is when some light is still left,, so that the photo can be an inclusion of both the landscape and moon, but those
windows are shot, so you have to be in place and ready.
I always find myself so busy typically at those times,, so I keep missing,, I joke that those will be my retirement
subjects,
so,, if you can,,, squeeze in the moon, into some interesting composition.
