must be spring,, I feel like buying something,,, maybe the results of dropping off my D800
at the camera store,,,
mmmm looks up at the used gear,, oh hey tripods,,
like I need another tripod,, but darn,, that elusive travel tripod,, the current one I have works
but too flimsy,, pain in the but to use, and the unique head connector to the camera has
trouble staying tight,, and seems to damage the bottom of the camera when it twists..
but,, notice MePhoto tripods look good, and you can get just the base,, and add a manfrotto
head to solve the camera connector issue. About 120 dollars for just the base,, which seems
high,, when you can get the head and tripod for the same online, maybe I should get the
head,, and then keep the head as a backup.. I really do want the lightweight, tough,, backready
