always good to have that camera ready,, handy,, but,, actually,, its more of having the mind always
ready..
its being aware of the potential that makes the shots,, camera can be ready all the time,, but its
the human that has to be self aware and frame the moment.
I think that is what makes a person a photographer,, sure, it the skill,, and knowledge, and
to some degree the equipment,, but in the end is the self aware nature of the photographer.
course,, I suppose,, you only have to be self aware when having scheduled events and such,
but think of all the shots missed,
and even in scheduled event, think how many shots you got,, because you were self aware of
a potential shot,, often something not even linked to the event..
but... you scanned, saw,,, and you said, mmmm ... what if...... frame adjust,,, click... (nikon click
)
and when you get home,, the best shot of the day was that self aware moment.
so,, keep that photography mindset active.. never know,,,,,,,,where that next shot comes from.
oh,, but keep that Nikon handy,, or it will only be a memory.
