Talk about dedication, I was reading an article about some recipient of nature photographer of
the year,
Now, nature photographers are often the most patient people in the word, take birder that will
stand in a blind for 7 hours for that one photo of the day,,
but this guy took the cake, he wallowed in African mud,, eventually sitting in a water hole
getting bug bites all day,, parasites into his bowel (eww), for 8 months! to get pictures
of wild lions drinking from a water hole! just imagine
interesting, he was not using digital,, but an ancient Nikon F100, for what he considers
the look of film,,
laughs, of course,, we can't know, because the image is SCANNED digitally,, so pixelated anyway,
anyhow,, you got to admire his dedication, I admit,, I would not sit in an African mudhole for
8 months waiting for that shot.
