I had a discussion yesterday with a non photographer,, who is always asking me if a posted photo had been PhotoShop.... she won't like a picture if it has been photoshopped, wants it natural..
which of course cracks me up,, just where does the public gets this concept of natural photographs is interesting to me.
I think that part of the negative image is the view of people pictures being changed to make more thinner, or whatever,
Most of my photoshop work is pretty light touch,,, typically, levels, spot removal, leveling, cropping, with the occasionally cloning of some irratating object.
Sure,, sometimes I play with mm slightly increased mountain height, more dramatic lighting, spot lighting, replacement of a sky, or sometimes merges of pictures,,
but, I am not hung up on natural photography, if the finish product is pleasing to the eye, then I am happy whether straight from the snapshot or a photographed finished product.
