looks like a wet wet weekend, too bad as we kick into the start of the summer season, looks like a trend of a really dry spring followed up with a wet June. Last year my garden just about got rot from all the moisture,

Now I'll need the ground to dry out at least a week before I can till and plant.

I'll have to think about subjects with rain, of course flowers in rain are always popular, and my belief is that random rain drops always look better then spray on bubbles. Isn't that weird that natural looks better, but my theory is that the rain drops have a more random distribution, and often are larger, versus the mist that comes out of spray bottles.

course, you have to protect your gear either with your body or umbrella. Umbrellas I always find awkward, so hard to hold one and still operate all the controls of the camera, so I more tend to be like a hunchback, and just used myself as the rain shield.

another subject of course is downtowns with their wet side walks and reflections. Some people really like taking shots of people shadows. I personally have not focused on that subject, but many of those type of subjects are nice, I do like using reflections as part of the compositions, but typically not the primary composition.

well off to work.
