Monday,, raining Monday,, I suspect these clouds are going to stick around for a while.
I need to order some ink, my printing is falling behind, course not like I don't have too many prints anyway, but, I feel that the real muster in a photo is in the print, plus, I have a few people shots I have to print anyway.
I should think of hustling more and finding larger place to hang once in a while, but, I don't really have the patience for self promotion, or working the networks. the smoozing effect. Photos are not just discovered, people have to work almost as hard on the self promotion as the work if they want their worked noticed.
On the other hand, no hurry, the beauty of photography, does not age.... can print up years later, and still sell prints.
I see prints from photographers I know in stores that were taken close to 40 years ago, so,, as long as the subject is still desirable, one can sell the stuff years and years after the fact.
course, I never plan on making any serious money selling photos, I think selling photos for a living is even harder and more work then wedding photography. People think twice before parting with their money for art.
so, I'll order some ink,, I have kids in college, so my funds are being depleted so fast,, it is scary,, thinking of buying stuff is becoming stressful. I think the college system is one of the largest wealth depletion systems in the world. For those that have kids in college, you know what I am talking about,, for those with young kids,, live in a condo, and save every penny,,, laughs,,, its that bad.
