Arches,,, photographer's dream,, but also lots of crowds.
Almost comical,, with the photographers perched in perilous places waiting for that golden light, and then of course..
as soon as the golden light hits, EVERY tourist in the place has to run down and get their picture in the arch, hands held up high,, as the photographers who had climbed and waited, and waited for the perfect shot, watch the wonderful light fade away.
I managed to get a few where by waiting until the next group was walking in,, can overlay the shots and create the people free shots.
A bit of editing, but well worth it.
also did the 6 mile hike for a collection of other arches, super.
Now off to Zion..
Drove over a 1000 miles just for Arches,, puts driving in a whole new perspective.
Thank goodness for unlimited mileage, I'll have put on more than 2500 miles on this trip.
