For my city outing,,,, choosing the D800, 24-85 (wish it was the 24-70 2.8) and my 80-400.

as a bag, I am using a converted Camel back water bag,,, If I am not using my cameras, then it just looks like I am carrying water, nothing of real
value, and well, its nice and small.

the bag is large enough to keep the 80-400,, and with a dish towel to keep them from banging around also The d800 with the 24-85 lens.

I used to drag around the dedicated multi pocketed camera bags,, but well a bit umcomfortabe, and in a city setting, you ar like just shouting out..

Hey.. Look at me... I have 1000s of dollars of expensive gear with me,,, no really I do,, why else would I be dragging around this bag that
says camera gear.

Sometimes, I would have like 7 or more lens,, probably close to 4K in lens, throw in the 3K camera,, and you have a very compact 7K target..

laughs,, actually I never thought about it as a target,, I just use the Camel back bag,, because it is easier!

and well for city, a 2 lens kit is perfect. and the 80-400 is more compact than my 80-200 2.8, and weighs more with double the reach,, sweet!

ok.. off I go.
