Why choose Nikon, x many years ago ?

Bought Nikon F60 for our big trip to Scotland. Added one longer (Siggy 100-300) lens. Big part of that choice was Nikon lens promise. I'd always be able to use my lenses. And that is true. Not sure true for others. Still use the first Nikon lens I bought.

And yellow and black are my team colours. "Go Ti-Cats"

I bought my first Nikon a couple years ago, a D3100, and I've learned a ton since then! Lol :) Would I switch to a different brand if I could do it all over, nope! But I might jumped up to a D300 or even a D700 had I knew what I know now! Lol :D

Nikon filled my expectations so I don't regret anything except for the need to sell off a few of my Nikon's! I think I would have enjoyed collecting my Nikon's, using them now and then just for the fun of it! Because I liked all my Nikon DSLRs even though I moved through them pretty quickly till I got to my goal of the D300 and D700 combo! :D

I had mostly Minolta cameras before the digital age, but they are no more. I did some reading and settled on Nikon without actually trying out the competition. I have had good luck with Nikon rifle scopes so I figured the basic quality would be there.
