Thanks Barbara... It was quite unbelievable to us as well cos all i had ever seen were hills & some of them pretty large..
This range blows everything out of the window..
It looks so unreal like someone just placed it there... no words at all...
But i am disappointed that the forum is reducing size & the quality of photos are definitely lost

We flew over this region in the mountain range where there are a cluster of mountain tops.
They seem very docile here, but in reality they do look very over bearing

Well, time to unveil the emperor of emperors, king of kings, the greatest of them all.............
MOUNT EVEREST !!!
If by any chance you've had any trouble identifying which peak it is... it's the darker lonely peak, taller than the rest, standing majestically with a bit of cloud crown...

I just realized that i can probably finish this month & next with these aerial view shots... i am unable to choose the best ones as i seem to like all of them

If you are wondering who would want these hideous sculptures, say everyone
It is a belief that if you hang one of these outside your home, it wards off the evil spirit... go figure
you'll find such faces on almost all houses in Nepal & in rural India as well
