When Photo Thieves Get Caught, They Get MAD

I couldn't get through it all but was terribly amused by the "Hackers must have posted those photos on my page and inserted my watermark" excuse.

If all else fails ---> blame hackers.

That is one of the reasons that a leading landscape photographer has the watermark diagonally across the image. When asked, the reply was it was in response to a few of the images being stole and re posted. If any one wanted to see the original, they can buy a print!

Delray Beach?? Tried to look up the SJK or whatever the name is to see if I've seen this person, but I'm not on FB.

When you search her name, the first result is the Photo Stealer web site LoL. With no real web presence aside from facebook, how big could she have been (or thought she was)?

I learned long ago that most people, in general, are much more dishonest than I am, personally. I had tons of stuff stolen from me while in the Navy because I believed in the honor and integrity of my fellow sailors. There should be laws against this sort of thing that carry real consequences - not because of any real or possible harm suffered by the original photographer's bank account, but because it's just SO WRONG to take someone else's work and say it is your own.

And then to deny if with more lies...

I'm not sure if it was photo stealers or another bloke that set up a similar organisation against photo theft.....but someone stole a photo and entered it into a competition with a reasonably good prize...and won.

He was stripped of his prize when it was discovered & proven he didn't take the photo, as is only fair. I'm sure this goes on quite a bit in lesser ways. It's just wrong.

I have started my own "Wall Of Shame" sticky post on my blog. 3 cases so far. One of my photos actually ended up on a website in TN. It was quickly taken down by the web design firm when i contacted them. People just don't care. Calling them out is a great idea.

How do you find out if your photos are where they shouldnt be?
If you use Google chrome, you can right click on the image and then click on "search Google for image". There are some sites out there where u can upload an image and it will search for u you. You can also search by your cameras serial number on some sites.

Her FB was taken down very quickly but her and her fiancé are still trying to fight back against the site and anyone who so much as shares the PS link about them. They're currently in court with a photographer from Delray Beach as they're suing her for "slander" just cause she shared the link. They have nothing to back it up with and have delayed the case twice and during all this time they've been trying harder than ever to get something from us they can use against us but we know it's them so they fail. These two are just plain psychotic and narcissistic.

And you see everything they're doing now on the PS site and the blog AC016 posted but this isn't the first time they've done this. Their behaviour goes back years, they once cyberbullied someone holding a Christmas tree contest just because they didn't win first place. They have no skills, and no jobs. They live off of inheritances and spend it on the ugliest designer clothes imaginable and other accessories like LA bags and they act like they're high-class citizens because they have these overpriced pieces of crap.

It's been an eventful time with them.

Basically, any kind of bs tactic you can think of that someone would use to deny the truth, or make themselves seem better than they actually are, they've tried it and more.
