Thanks. I'm preparing for an upgrade to the FX line. I bought the primes for use when sharpness is most important and the 24-120 for a travel/walk around lens.

I had picked up the 24-120 a couple weeks before the rebates. The retailer wouldn't credit me, so I returned it and reordered it along with the 85 1.8. Cost me an extra $100 for the 85, so overall a good deal.

I keep eyeballing the 70-200 VRII, but it's really hard for me to justify getting it even for $300 off. Since I have the 70-200/f4, I'll probably just pick up the Tamron 70-200/2.8 VC when it is available in the US. I only need the 2.8 4 or 5 times a year, tops.
