What Lens Is On Your D7200 Right Now?

Right now I have the Nikon 35mm f/1.8 AF-S DX on it. Just wanted to play around with a fixed focal length and compact the set up. Came highly recommended.

Is there any affordable normal telephoto lens that suits the quality of our sensor? I have the 55-200 I but I think that it's of lower capabilities than the camera (it sounds right after all) than it was of my D5300

Any suggestions?

Right now, the Sigma 150-600mm telephoto, Sport model. Just got it and, after a workout at the gym to ensure that I can lug it around, I'm heading out for a test-drive. Color me happy this morning. :)

I have been changing it up a lot lately. I am using the Sigma 10-20 f3.5, and the Nikkor 200-500 f5.6. I guess I like operating at the extremes

I, too, have been doing quite a bit of experimentation with the a variety of lenses, long and short and fixed and whatnot. But I think that the stock lens for this camera will be the Nikkor 18-300mm telephoto. It seems to fit most everything I'm currently doing with the camera, and the quality of the photos produced is excellent in a variety of settings and situations. What's not to like about that?

For now I am using the Nikon 70-200 F2.8 VR ll and the picture quality is way better than any other zoom lens I own.

I've spent a bit of time with the 18-140 lens that came with the D7200 I bought and like it a great deal. I even packed it on a trip I took across country recently, pairing it with a D5500. But I'm back to the 18-30mm lens with my D7200 for photos around the house and nearby. It's a terrific lens, wonderfully versatile, easy to use. I highly recommend it.

This morning it is a Sigma 10-20 f/3.5 wide angle. That lens spends a lot of time on my D7200 for Sunrise, Sunsets and clouds... last night it was a sunset.

That's a good recommendation, Dan. Thanks for sharing. I shoot a lot of sunrises and sunsets and will have to take a hard look at that lens.

the Nikon 18-140 that came with my D7200, I have a feeling that is about to change when my Rokinon 24mm 1.4 arrives Friday.
