What is your favourite / most used lens??

My most used lens is an old non AI 28/3.5 on DX...it is the cheapest Nikkor lens there is period...someday I hope to upgrade to the AIS 28/2.8.

My favorite lens is an old non AI 105/2.5 especially on my full frame film camera...it is a bit long for DX sometimes. I someday will have a few 85's and I know they will be perfect for DX...and probably the first 85 I will buy will be the venerable 60's fashion lens the 85/1.8 preferably in K type from the 70's because it matches my F2...that lens will supplant the 105 for sure.

I'll never own a zoom because I just don't play that way and if I could get modern lenses a set of G types would suit me just fine...

My most desired lens is a Noct Nikkor followed by a Leica 85/1.4 R both of which are probably outside the realm of possibility for me until the kids are gone from the nest and I am ready to eat a whole lot of baloney... :)

I think there is a differance sometimes in, most used and favourite or even a lens you dont use much but has a special quality you love.
Then there can be a fave lens you may not own but want to badly lol :D

I would say my Nikon 17-55 2.8, before this it would have been my 35mm 1.8.

I normally only remove the 17-55 if I want to use the 85mm for portraits or the 105mm for macro.

The lens that stays on my camera 90% of the time, is my Tamron SP 70-300mm AF f/4-5.6 Di VC USD. I mainly got it for wildlife, but found it's good for a lot more. :)
