No doubt it will be quite sturdy as it comes in at 5.8 lbs (not even counting the weight of a head). It will be heavy, that's for sure! Please let us know your thoughts on the brand after you've had a chance to play with your new toy. ;)

I wanted something rock solid...Hope it will do the trick...I'll post a report after I use it to photograph some Bald Eagles at the Conowingo Dam...
