Shoot those flies with a rubber band and bring back the model!Oz

Just for you Ron - but please note no flies were hurt in the production of this shot.
It was supposed to be another boudoir shot but the poor dear had a cold so I suggested she keep her clothes on! Can you believe that?
I couldn't but anyway what was supposed to be a boudoir shoot turned into a portrait shoot and I am pleased it did as I have been struggling to get my lights "right".

I think tonight's session might have turned the cirner.

you are certainly on the right track. The lighting ere is much better. Really like the backlight on her hair.

August has been Macro month and boy has it been frustrating.
I really do take my lens off to those who are good at this - you know who you are ...

I caught this little guy on my lunch break - seems he was on his too.

I took a lot of shots of him but cannot quite get them as sharp as I would like.

Hey Lawrence, both of those shots are great. I really like the hungry Jumping Spider.

I know what you mean about getting the supersharp shots. Don't worry, we all struggle to get them. There are so many things working against you, hands shaking, body swaying, breeze moving the leaves, and on top of all that, the insect wants to move about as well.

Been walking around with the macro lens for most of thismonth. Saw these little flowers this afternoon and thought "why not?"

Makes a change from insects.
