I don't think I have seen your name before so in the first instance welcome.
Secondly i think you will get better feedback here if you post one photo per thread.

Thanks, I have been doing research on here for a while but have never posted anything as a newbie to photography. I did think about it but i didnt want to take up loads of posts doing it:eek:

Hi and welcome, You will find this site to be helpful, friendly, amusing, generous with advice and very open. In my opinion the best site I have ever joined.
With regard to the photos as an ex pat living in France they could only be views of one country. The church could do with being straightened is all I would say.

PHOTO SUBMISSION RULES

1. Only one photo submission per day (24 hours). We don't want the forum to be monopolized by a single member.

2.
Upload one image in your post. If you have a set of images, just provide a text link, either to your member gallery here on Nikonites.com or off-site. If you are unsure how to do this, please ask.

3.
Include as much info as possible along with your image:

  • EXIF data
  • Artistic intent/summary of the photo
  • What specifically do you want feedback on?

If you want to post multiple photos then there are other sections that are more suited.

For me

#! I like it as is.

#2 I would like to see more building and less brush and the piece of water tank to the left.

#3 As stated before, it needs straitening.

1: Due to your composition, I would like to see the path being completely in the middle. Maybe crop a bit of, at the bottom, I keep looking at the leaves there. But nice image :)

2: Good, nice composition and enough light all over.

3: I don't like the blown out clouds. I would fill the frame more with the castle and not place it completely in the middle. A little less water at the bottom, could prevent this.

But overall, nice stuff, keep shooting!
