What budget super zoom?

I am looking for a suitable superzoom for my D3100.

Nikon 18-200 VR and Tamron 18-270 PZD way above my budget.

So far I shortlisted following

Tamron AF 18-200mm F/3.5-6.3 XR Di II LD Aspherical [IF] Macro (£151 at Amazon)

Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 II DC OS HSM (£254 at Amazon)

I understand that superzoom is always compromise but I really want a single travel lens and cash flow is tight.

So question, is it worth buying more expensive Sigma for vibration reduction only?

I'm not familiar with the lenses you're mentioning. I do own a 70-300mm, which I'm going to sell. Here's the lens that I'd suggest:

AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED
4.3x zoom lens
VR (Vibration Reduction) technology
Compact, lightweight

Price
$589.95*SRPSRP (Suggested Retail Price) listed only as a suggestion. Actual prices are set by dealers and are subject to change at any time.
Product Number: 2161

Sorry, I might not have explained my question properly.

I am looking for a single lens for 18-200 (or more) focal length.

Thus, 70-300 is not suitable for me as then I need another lens to cover 18-70 :)

Im guess you're looking for a single "walk around" lens (EG; save having to carry around your entire kit?)
From previous experience, Tamron are the best at this, so any of theirs will do ok and can be had for cheap on eBay.
In saying that however, be aware these lenses are the definition of compromise. Whilst you get epic versatility, the IQ of such lenses is pretty much in the toilet.

keep off anything Tamron..... DXO always rates them lower than sigma and nikon
After about 30,000 shots and two of them I have no complaints about the sigma 18-200 and I think they now doe an 18-250
