I dont do much straight listening of late, I tend to search youtube for videos of my fave bands in concert and, if I can then go on to purchase the dvd.
The latest fave of mine is the Phil Lynott tribute "One night in Dublin" in which the late, great Gary Moore and other past Thin Lizzy members play a tribute concert with some of their best songs from the mid70s-early 80s. well worth a look (and listen to) wether you are a fan or not.

I remember the very first time I ever heard this song was in the late 1990's. The Nikon School was in Philadelphia giving a seminar. Near the end, they played this song while showing some type of PowerPoint slide show loaded with family photos and gorgeous landscapes. All of us in the class sat transfixed with eyes glued to the projection screen. The song was such a powerful accompaniment to the images that I asked for the song's title and artist afterwards.
