It's usually a mess of hummers, but today it was all about waxwings again

Love those Waxwings. I don't have any way to attract them into my yard.

Plant a persimmon, let it fruit, and let the fruit get really ripe and stinky.

One of my favorite birds, but I find them hard to shoot well since their feathers are so fine and reflective

I just read up on persimmons in Texas. They are adapted to most of Texas. I think the Waxwings will go for the Holly berries if there isn't anything else around. I dug up my hollies because they were full size and planted next to the foundation. I have seen some Junipers around here, which I know they like. Hmmmmm, need to go to the local nursery.
