Yep; it will be going home soon -- focus is soft past 10 or so feet, AF is slow and searching, VR sometimes stops working.

I figured after yesterday's dreck, I'd go off to the Arb where the shooting is easy. Looking at the results, I am afraid my fear is confirmed and the Tam will be heading home on Monday.
