Luckily, I was wearing my high heal work boots

After eating, he dropped down to a tree limb about 10' off the ground and just sat there. I was on a bank across the trail, so was shooting almost level. Two people walked right under him, as I was snapping away. Goldfinches were hopping around him unconcerned, but the robin in the tree behind me was throwing a fit.
