Ready for the winter mate, well cooled down into the 80's will do, shot my first (baby) snipe and a white crowned sparrow yesterday at San Jacinto, also got distant shot of the grey harrier.

No time this morning, so tried a few shots this afternoon -- after 15 minutes at 105° I gave up before my camera did.

I was slowly sneaking up on this cooper's, pausing for a few shots along the way. Just as I got abreast of it for a clear, tight shot, a jogger came roaring past and scared it away, so this is as good as I got
