I spotted a kingbird on the power line outside, went and grabbed my camera, and watched it fly off just as I brought the lens up. I tried to take some consolation with a sparrow who landed on the fence beside me.
Off to the lake, with a bright sun ducking in and out of puffy clouds -- not great for pictures, but very nice for walking about. Managed a few shots along the way, so all is good.
