Just when you think it's going to be a dull rainy day in Horticulture, a visitor comes calling

Look at the spur on that guy! That would hurt!

He was a big boy -- nearly knee high to me and I'm 6' 7". His talons were huge, so we were lucky one of the interns is a trained large animal vet assistant and has wrangled his like before.

No, but we got some feed from the high school ag department to hold him over until animal control showed up.
