The parrots were having a raucous chat on the phone line again, so i gabbed my camera to get a shot or two. As soon as I rounded the corner -- third damn day in a row -- one of them let out a wail and they all bolted. It appears I am so notorious that I now have a dedicated lookout assigned to me. Oh well, at least Norm was sitting his usual perch -- he could care less what I do.

The D500 will spoil you quickly -- it was all I could do to get focus in this light with the 5300.
