Well, sort of. My study of American Silversmiths was hosted by Rootsweb since 1998. At the end of least year, Ancestry bought Roots and immediately locked the hosted websites. It was supposedly for 'security' reasons, but they really want to figure out how to charge money to access what was built as free open data. In the mean time, I can not access the pages at all, even to retrieve my pages. I can buy my own domain and recreate it all, but haven't the energy, frankly.
