What's up with the D500?

I'm assuming the Tammy is refusing to autofocus?

I need to call Tamron about my 150-600, which was just "fixed" by them a couple of months ago, but still refuses to AF a couple or three times a day.

Oil spots on the sensor; also getting some weird color shifts and graininess, but that may be the Tam shutter heading south. As it happens, my add-on protection for whatever happens dies next month, so what the heck, right?

The AF on the Tam has gotten very slow and will then spontaneously defocus/refocus in the middle of a burst. Shots are very grimy and soft, especially past 15 feet. Even tight on a tripod, I'm losing a lot of shots that would have been fine 6 months ago. The Tap-in consul adjustments don't make any difference.

Yes, G2. Of course, I do use it a lot and every day (my d500 has 250k and change on the shutter). I'm hoping they'll make me an endurance tester for new lenses
