I have no idea if this is a juvenile blue wing teal, a hybrid, of some other species entirely. First time I've seen it at the park. It was a friendly sort. Gave my shoe tip a peck, but otherwise paid me no mind.

I am reliably informed that this is a male juvenile wood duck in first year eclipse plumage

The tern was doing some nice hovering, but the light was just crap. As soon as the clouds broke, it disappeared, of course.
