These last four were an spur of the moment experiment. I spotted a hummer zipping about catching gnats on the lawn -- in the shadows, of course. I pushed the speed to 2500 at 800 ISO to see what I could get. I took about 30 shots and got 4 sort of approaching focus -- pretty happy to get anything at all.

You certainly doOz Of course, you take so many fine bird photos that you are guaranteed to catch some grumpy expressions. I guess the birds are just like us. Some days good, somedays not so much.
