This hawk had apparently bothered a swarm of bees that were following it from tree top to tree top.

Excellent shots Wev. Love the Humminbird pics.
You have set a cracking pace, can you keep this up for another 11 months ?

Thanks, Brad. I'm going to try, but if I don't make it, spread my ashes in the garden (good fertilizer)

Looks like your sensor needs a good cleaning!!! ;)

I'm really enjoying your shots, wev. Keep up the great work.

When I opened the first one, I thought Oh crap! What did I do to my camera?! Then I looked at the others and felt a great relief, though I think the hawk would have preferred it to be the sensor.

Thanks, WM

There are great photographers here but you, @wev, are unique in your ability to capture the character of your subjects better than most and I admire the way you can capture great photos no matter what lens you use. I would expect you could do well even with a Kodak Brownie.

Thank you @RON, you make me blush. I do have my Kodak BSA camera in a box somewhere -- won it for selling the most pancake breakfast tickets. Maybe I should dig it out and see if I can find some film.
