Thanks Vixen, I will try that and put the background further back. I have to admit I didn't like that big blob in the middle of the glass but I didn't think to change the distance. I do love the look of the different size dots in the stems of the glasses. That's why I love this forum, the technical help is soooo wonderful. Did you see that I have been winning lot of awards on Pixoto?

Nice Wendy! I have no computer skills and had never heard of pixoto but your photos do look lovely and so colourful on the page like that :) I find flowers and still life so frustrating but you do such a great job of them both

Thanks so much, I think you should put some of your beautiful animal photos on Pixoto. They only usually have cats and dogs, which are nice but a variety of animals would be fabulous. And you do a beautiful job capturing the true personality of your animal family. :)

Ok, I'm sick to my stomach!!! My d5100's mirror locked up. I had a great shot set up, tried switching to live view on the screen when everything froze!!! I took it to the camera shop but they couldn't help. I pulled up YouTube videos to try to fix it!!! NOTHING!! I am soooo sad.

Day 204/365
Stripes and Flowers 2.jpg
Well, I just needed a vacation to get things working. Thanks for the support gang. AND a SUPER BIG, Extra Shout Out to Moab Man and Moab Lady for lending me a camera. I was so bummed last Wednesday because everything went wrong!! My camera's mirror froze up and I couldn't get this photo to post. This is the arrangement that I had ready for my D5100 when it froze. :( So I took the shot with my CoolPix L820. I really thought that I was out of the 365 :( When I whined to Moab Man about my camera. Thank goodness that MM and ML are the kindest friends in the world. They lent me one of their D5100 camera's, and a Tokina Lens, for my vacation to Spirit Lake in the Uintah's. Spirit Lake Lodge, Utah, Step Back in Time: Explore Log Cabin Living | Nature at it's Finest | Good for the Soul I am so blessed to have such fabulous friends. I was able to get some awesome shots of the wilderness. I think that I am back in the 365. So now I just need to process and post my shots for the last few days. However, my D5100 is still frozen.

Very colorful Wendy. Glad you could get a camera to use. Hope you will post the results of the repair of your camera to help others who might have the same problem.

Thanks Ron, I am working on my camera right now to see if any of the solutions will be successful. I sure hope that I can fix it.

Day 205/365 This is one of the first shots that I took with MM's really nice Tokina Wide Angle Lens and his D5100 camera. I know that I need to get used to using the lens. But the scenery is nice. It is at an elevation of 10,200 feet above sea level.
