I like the reflection of the first fireworks shot the best!
Day 186/365 Hornet Nests. It was a REALLY busy Saturday. We cleaned out the shed, then moved the shed about 10 feet. It is amazing how much work it takes to move a 10x10 box 10 feet. We had lots of family here to help and lots of muscles. Whew, It's moved and everything is back in the shed. I found these hornet nests in the corner of the shed so that is my shot of the day, because I am EXHAUSTED..

Day 187/365 Horse under Sprinkler, This was just a fun shot. It was almost sunset and I was hoping to get a nice colorful shot, when I walked by this pasture. It was a REALLY hot day today and this small horse was standing and nibbling on the grass under the sprinkler. I hope that it cooled him down 
By the way, the sunset didn't get colorful like I thought that it would.

Thanks Chris, I really wanted a good sunset photo, but the sunset disappointed me. So I took what was available at the time. Weekends are soooooo busy, it is hard to find photography time.
Thanks Roy, It is one of my many science experiments. You REALLY won't want to drink it LOL
I tried to get more colors to layer but it didn't work. The bottom layer is blue cornsyrup, there is a green layer of dish soap but it blended with the next layer of yellow water, then there is a layer of orange oil, and lastly a layer of red rubbing alcohol. I know it's strange, but I do things in the summer that I can use in my classroom during the school year. It is supposed to show the density of liquids Day 189/365 Black Bag and Glasses. I got home from a few errands in the 100 degree heat, put my bag and glasses on the dresser. Later when I was thinking about what was going to be my shot for the day, I noticed how cool my bag and glasses looked. I thought that they could pass for black and white.
