Clearly, with your early return from the computer graveyard, next time I will have to install a much more lethal virus on your computer.

Day 79/365 Red Faced Duck, What kind of duck is this? He was the only one like this at the pond. He let me get within inches of him/her. I like the drop that is dripping off his bill.

Since I'm waaaay behind in catching up with your thread and I didn't see anyone answer our question here I thought I would :) That ugly duck is a muscovy. They are larger than mallard derived ducks but they can and will breed with Mallard types except that their offspring will be mules (sterile). Earlier you posted a photo of a duck with a tuft on its head. Ron was correct in identifying. Ducks are more busy than rabbits and will mate ANYTHING! Dogs cats goats get a little disgruntled about this LOL The tuft is genetic and is formed by a misshaped skull that allows a large fat deposit to protrude and feathers grow up out of it. Now when you see an ugly duck with red carnacles on its face you'll know whats its called and if you see a tufted duck you know whats under those feathers :)
