My Mother lives in St. George....love that area! Northern Utah is beautiful too!

Sonic, I love to go to St. George. We go a few times every year. We go to the plays at Tuachan, they are wonderful, and very professional. We love to hike and see all of the sites in Zion, and Kolob. I even know where there are some petroglyphs that are very old. It is always fun to take a vacation to Southern Utah.

I've been to Tuachan too....golfed when it was a semi private course at Entrada at Snow Canyon. THE most beautiful golf course I've ever golfed on even though it was nearly 100*. I loved it. I just visited her last May. I might be back out there in a year or so...love the red rocks!

Oh, Yes, ST. George can be VERY hot but it is some of the most beautiful country in the world. We hiked Snow Canyon Last year, and we plan to hike it again this year. I will get some shots of it when we hike and post them. Snow Canyon has the red rocks and the white rocks blending together with the black volcanic rocks. There is an extinct volcano just outside of Snow Canyon. You will have to let us know when you are going to visit again. We ( the Moab;s and I) will meet you and get some great photography.

Steve, We would love to show you around if you ever get to visit us. There will be many more shots of the area this summer when school is out and I can take the time to go farther and get some great shots of our state.
Steve, I have always wanted to travel to the UK. My ancestors are from York. Do you know of the Boyington Castle? That was my ancestors residence. One day soon I am hoping to be able to travel to your country.

My wife and I talked about heading to Salt Lake City a while ago, it is definitely on our list of places to go - It would be a trip of a lifetime, so maybe in a couple of years when we can take lots of time and hopefully include Yellowstone etc in our trip!

York is a beautiful city - It's not what you folk from the US would call big, but there is so much to see in this area. I have been past Boyington, I know there is a big Manor house there, but I have not visited yet. I could make a point of getting there and get some shots for you!

Sonic, that would be so awesome to see some shots from there.
If you do get a chance to visit, give us a heads up and Moab Man, and I will show you some phenomenal scenery.

@sonicbuffalo

Be flexible in your dates, plan early, and maybe I can take you out for some Milky Way photography here in the desert that will blow your mind.

Day 140/365 At the pond tonight a puppy and his "daddy" came to play. This is a shot of the dog waiting for "daddy' to throw the stick. I have never shot dogs before so I am not sure that I did these right. But I really like the sparkly water reflecting the sunset. I also like how excited puppy was to play with daddy. His tail was moving so fast that I couldn't catch a shot of it. I also like the look in puppy's eyes. You can tell that he loved playing with daddy. View attachment 90355
