Thanks Pat, I am happy when I take the photos of the flowers and then happy again when I process them, then happy again when I put the processed photo my desktop background. I guess I'm just a happy flower child. :)

Day 97/365 I decided to try some urban shots. I have never done them before, but I enjoy looking at some of the other Nikonites urban photography. So I gave it a try.

Day 98/365 My Kokopelli Collection. Ugh, I hate the classroom lights. I worked late tonight and took this shot in my classroom with the icky classroom lights. :(

I know we all like our high end editing programs, but I have to say that Wendy's photos are really coming together nicely and she is editing with nothing more than Picasa.

Nice work Wendy.

Thanks so much MM. I will share the location of this pond with you because of the nice comment.

I used Picasa for many years and only switched to Aperture when I came over to Apple. I wanted a proprietary program.

I am still a beginner, and am still learning new things everyday. Picasa seems to be at my level at this time. In time I will get a higher level editing program. I do have Photoshop Elements and Perfect Effects, but I am not comfortable with them yet.

I think it is perfectly adequate for most editing needs. It depends on your goals. I still tend toward minimal editing. I guess I would still rather chase the perfect photo than try to improve a a mediocre photo.
