Falling Colors

28mm ƒ3.5 non-AI lens mounted to my D320.
1/10 of a second at ƒ5.6, ISO 400
Built-in flash at 1/16 power, rear-curtain sync

Because this is necessarily an image with a very long aspect ratio, it doesn't really look so good reduced to the size constraints that this forum imposes. See the full-sized version on Fickr.

After seeing everyone elses I am hesitant in adding this one.
Taken shortly after my hubby dropped my D800. Just hope he hasnt done any damage to it!

I almost feel sorry I didn't wait to post my image. Caught this this morning and maybe it does look better than my fog entry... But I didn't want to change my posted image. It would have been cheating.

The shoot and submit period is now closed. Now have a little less than 24 hours to review and Like the "Fall Colors" photos that you like.

Tobacco waiting to be cut. The "yellower" field in the background is tobacco that has been cut and staked.

Nice shot. Brings back many a memory. Unfortunately, the submit period ended roughly 27 minutes prior to the post. The cutoff is 00:00 UTC (8:00pm EDT).

It would be fine to leave the image, but it will be ineligible for the final round.
