It must be a hoot living in your household :)

Nah, this is what Christmas is all about Family. Good food, good times, and laughter. Our family including myself are all a bunch of jokesters. Polish Peg as we call her (we have two Pegs) Is so full of life, and sharp as a tack. Every year we are thankful she is still with us and we have enjoy SO many good times with her. Although not from the "Old Country" she's is very fluent in Polish and tells us stories about her life, and Polish / Czechoslovakian traditions. She's the hoot.:D

Hmm...kind of a weak showing for this one, gang. I'll chalk it up to the holiday season and everyone being busy.

I'm extending this one for another week, because I think you're all shying away from this one! Your new challenge is to prove me wrong and submit some photos! Heck, the Boss Man is even throwing in a Nikonites mug!

New deadline for this challenge: January 5th.

I'm surprised too....I think this is a great challenge and I think the extension is a great idea, it will give people more time after the holiday rush...Thank you

New Years Eve, a Camera, Hey you should get some Decisive Moments out of that. Good call Anthony. Come on people, I work third shift, and had Christmas at my house this year and I got "Something" in, maybe not what I wanted but at least made an attempt. You mean to tell me no one is taking pictures. What about all you Project 365 people? I know a lot of you starting up on the 1st. Come on so easy a Caveman could do it.

AFC_Family_Day-26a.jpg

Sunday was Family Day at my Church and guess what I shoot a lot of the still photography at church events. Our Pastor was doing a symbolic washing of the feet showing his willingness to serve. Pastor Earl is washing a child's feet with his mother holding him. Because I was shooting a church event I also included the Anchor Faith Church Logo on the picture. Although I have the copy right to the picture I think it is only right to add the church logo as well.

For some crazy reason these guys decided to dress up in their Hallowe'en costumes in the middle of summer and play dragons in the backyard…lol.

Here is my submission. My kids. Andrew (Age 9) and AnnaRose (Age 7)

It wasn't the clearest or most technically correct image, but the moment makes up for it.

Plant Rescue.JPG

I have this compulsion to rescue discarded plants. This vine was a de-nuded stick last October.

I have been watering it and pulling off the dead leaves for months now. It is just about ready to be planted outside this spring.

Decisive moment? I have no idea. But this is what I do.

BTW: Cats LOVE chewing on these leaves. I have to keep Mabel up high, away from my boys.

This week's challenge is now closed.

The winner of the previous challenge (Degeneration) was ohkphoto. She issued this challenge and will be judging the entries. When a winner is chosen I will notify them via PM and that person will come up with a new challenge for next week! And as an added bonus, this week's winner gets a cool Nikonites mug!
