I think these are a huge improvement, especially that last set. The white balance is correct, color is spot on, reflections are under control and everything has sharp focus.
Further, I think the ring box brings some much needed coherence to the subject. I've never been a fan, personally speaking, of objects floating on a white background; it's just so... un-natural. I think using the box puts the ring into context, frames it almost and grounds the whole shot instead of leaving these rings, and me as the observer, floating (uncomfortably) in empty space. The simplicity of the box sets off the complex artistry of the rings, and I think that's a very good thing.
