Hello all, this is my first attempt at Water / Water drops, I am a new (ish) 17 year old Photographer, I am quite proud of this shot, I was wondering if there was anything else i could have done to make it better? Thanks in advance!

First welcome to Nikonites !

This is a very nice shot, especially as its your first attempt at droplets.

Suggestions for improvement (IMHO)

Try lowering the camera angle a little to get a better view of the droplet.
Could also fill the water container almost to the top so you can't see it in the background and/or use a wider aperture to get even more background blur.

There are some really good droplet shots on this site and also videos on YouTube that will help.

This guy does some amazing shots.

Keep on practicing.

Welcome to the website.

Very clear and sharp picture,
you could add a little colour in to the photo, a blue or red light just to highlight it.

Please let us know the EXIF data for this shot and what camera you are using.

EXIF = shutter speed, exposure compensation, F number, what metering system was used, if a flash was used, ISO number,
