Wall of F-100 grilles

Here is a shot I took for my works facebook page, Mid Fifty F-100 Parts

I flattened out the perspective to give it more of a pattern look, I only had like 10 ft of room from the wall to take the picture before going to some bushes, so I couldn't get back far enough, and there was a trailer in the way so I couldn't get shot from the center

The first one is when the side was in the shade and at more of an angle obviously

And the second I took later in the day, and moved some of the junk out of the way, and got as centered as a picture as I could

Don't know which one I like better, i'm leaning towards the first one, I don't like all the peach showing up from the wall on the second one?

Both are great pics. I kind of prefer the second one because the colors are a little more faded. It looks more historic.

I hope you don't mind that I separated the two pics you posted side by side. At first I almost forgot to look at the second one.

Very cool! I like them both a lot but if I had to choose, I think I'd pick the first image best because of the diffuse lighting compared to the second image with the hard shadows. It has a lot of post processing potential, IMO. I'm guessing it was a bit cloudy when you took the first shot and not so much on the second? Consider bumping up the vibrance and contrast on the first image and you'll get those colors to jump.

Thanks, well it wasn't cloudy, that side of the building was in the shade at the time, I guess same idea :p

I did up the vibrance, not the contrast though, I usually don't touch it as it seems to change it dramatically from what it should look like with previous photos, ill see what it does to this one though.
